Radio E-wards players are fully responsible for retrieving words at the appointed times or locations with no exceptions.  Smile FM is not responsible for distractions, missed words, misunderstandings, acts of nature or events outside of our control (including transmission failure).  Smile FM may add new ways or locations to collect words at any time.  If the Smile FM streaming isn't working, players are responsible for listening to Smile FM via the radio as opposed to the computer.

Only one (1) account per household.  Anyone found to be using multiple accounts will have ALL of their accounts frozen or deleted on the system.  You are welcome to play together as a family on ONE account for the whole family. 

Your account must include the following--name, address, phone number, email address--to qualify as a legitimate account.  All information given for your household account must be accurate.  If you are found to have given false information to set up your account, i.e. -- name, home address, email address, -- your account will be deleted if you have not updated your information.

You must be 18 years or older to participate as the main account holder in your household.  Some prizes may have a higher minimum age requirement, which will be located in the prize listing information.

Any person found cheating in any way will be terminated from the program WITHOUT NOTICE.

Players may not share keywords with other players.  Each account holder is responsible to obtain and enter their own keywords.  You may have friends help you with the contest but they may not also be players or help anyone else.

If a Radio E-wards player is found guessing at any word prior to public release, it will result in elimination from the game.

Smile FM monitors all keywords.  The electronic tallys in our computer files are final.

Merchandise awarded is based on a random number system with odds directly related to the number of keywords per item.

We cannot combine keywords from multiple accounts for you.

No sharing of strategies; no "groups" that would in essence lock out other account holders not a part of your group. 

Smile FM studio clocks will be the only ones recognized for cutoff times.  Smile FM cannot be held responsible for untimely entries, even if they were originated prior to the deadline. 

We reserve the right to email you regarding your prize (concert tickets, gift certificates, etc) with instructions on how to claim your prize.  Method of notification to winners is stated in prize description.  Some prizes my be sent as an email attachment.  If a winner is notified of a prize (tickets) that must be obtained at Will Call, the winner has until three (3) days after notification to transfer prize if desired. Smile FM reserves the right to state a specified time limitation for transfer of all prizes and winners will be notified by email of this limitation or it will be posted on prize description.

Some items will be multiple items and will be listed as such.  We will list the number available of that item. 

Smile FM prizes are donated by the Radio E-Wards sponsor.  While we make every effort to award all prizes that are auctioned off, we cannot be responsible if a sponsor backs out of a prize after it has been announced.  For example, if we give away concert tickets and the concert is later cancelled, we cannot be held responsible for actions beyond our control. Prizes will be awarded following the random computerized generated drawing.

Prizes may not be returned to Smile FM after they have been won. It is the account holder's responsibility to note any and all prize restrictions (mileage limitations; noting if you live in the area of the business; etc.) prior to entering a keyword on the prize. 

If the account holder decides not to use a prize won, it may not be returned to Smile FM.  Account holder is still responsible for any local, state or federal taxes that may apply regardless of whether or not it was utilized by the account holder.

Smile FM is not responsible for email problems that arise on the part of the Radio E-wards participant.  We will make every effort to contact you via the email address that has been given for your E-wards account.  If the email is not received on your end due to incorrect email address or your Spam Filter, Smile FM cannot be responsible for missed prize or keyword information.

The account holder is responsible for any taxes that may be due whether the item(s) is personally used or given away.

Radio E-wards HOUSEHOLDS may earn a maximum of $2,000 in any 12-month period, either cumulatively or in one major item.  If a single item value is greater than $2,000 then that is the only item the household is eligible for the next 12 months.  Radio E-wards members accumulating $600 or more in merchandise and/or services in any calendar year will receive a 1099 form at the end of the year for tax purposes.

The account holder is responsible for any state, local and/or federal taxes, license or transfer fees that may apply even if winner chooses to transfer the prize to someone else. Smile FM will not transfer the prize to another account holder who was not the original winner of the prize. Winners must provide their social security number for tax purposes and sign a standard liability waiver before major value items will be released.

Prizes will be distributed to winners via regular mail, email, available at will call or picked up at sponsor's location.  Smile FM will do its best to get your prize to you within two (2) weeks of winning.  We cannot be responsible for mail delays, damage or loss.   A picture ID may be required for acquiring some prizes.  Any items unclaimed for 14 days revert back to the Radio E-wards program.

All Radio E-ward players must live or work within the area of the Smile FM broadcast signal.  Listening online does not count as being in the broadcast area.

Smile FM reserves the right to modify the rules and contest specifications at any time without notice and without liability.  Any decisions made by Smile FM concerning rules and/or rule violations will be final.

Severability- If any portion of these rules is found to be invalid, it does not invalidate any other portion of the rules.
